Green Onion Pizza Restaurant in Jewett City

Pepperoni and Onion pizza. They are not skimpy on their toppings. One of the best pizzas I've had in awhile.

Tried this spot once with a friend and I am addicted since then. I like the awesome mood and tasty dishes and beverages. 5 stars from me.

I had a wonderful pizza and salad. I received wonderful customer service! I will definitely be back!

Service and friendliness of staff was awesome even though they were super busy! I ordered an item not even listed on the menu, and she was like, "sure! We can do that!"...(ordered grilled chicken tossed with buffalo sauce. I didn't want the fried version of the breaded tenders. The cook prepared it PERFECTLY!!!) I will absolutely return :)

Decent little place. Quick and good service. Not a huge fan on their pizzas but the burgers are decent and cheap. Overall not a bad spot.

Okay food. Pizza is not that great. This is why they get three stars. They send a chicken Parmesan grinder home in paper, which then melts to the cheese, as you can see. Food is okay, but at least wrap stuff that will stick to paper in foil.....So I recently changed my 3 stars to 4 because they changed from paper to wax. However, I am from the new haven area and the pizza and food there is made much differently.

Have tried several different meals from their menu and they were all delicious. Always had a friendly waitress.

Local pizza at its best. I’m not sure if they’ve raised their prices in 25 years. Try the mozzarella sticks.

My first time there. It was a great experience. The service was great my bacon cheeseburger was awesome and the fries were just right.

This place sparkles, the food is wonderful from the extensive menu of grinders and pizza to seafood and the prices can't be beat. Great quality, staff is so nice. Favorites (so far) are scallops and eggplant parm.

I wish i could give 4.5 stars instead of just 4! This is only a casual place to eat is the reason, but that doesn't change the fact that the food is delicious and the service when eating in is amazing. Would recommend to anyone for a quick bite or pizza.

Sunny is awesome, great variety, adequate pricing. Didn't have the opportunity to deal with an other of the staff. Very happy with it.

This place has a lot of nerve! I ordered a salad and paid a decent amount for.. for it to be ALL white lettuce! How do you charge that much and present that!!!!!!! I also ordered chicken fingers.. which I think they must of got them from the dollar store...

To tigger dragon! You are not allowed to have animals in a restaurant!! If you’re dog was sick then you should have went home and just ordered food. The only time a dog is allowed in a restaurant is if it’s a real service dog. And I’m glad they told you to leave you deserved it. I don’t see how you think you’re entitled to bring you’re dog into a restaurant, You are a real kind of special it’s pathetic. So again no dogs allowed into a restaurant you could have gotten them shut down! ONLY TRUE SERVICE ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED IN RESTAURANTS!!

I love this place!! Been coming here for the 30 years that they have been here. Food is great..service is even better. They make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. Besides the pizza and grinders, that are the best in the area, they also serve some pasta, chicken, beef, and seafood dinner plates (which are also quite tasty). It's a must try if you're in the area.

My mother and I have been going back to Green Onion for many many years and had always been satisfied with their fast service. However, the past few times we have visited the service has really gone downhill. We felt as if we had been forgotten about, because it took them an hour to get our appetizers after we got up and asked to place an order, and then another 30 minutes to get our food. There were several parties who arrived about 45 minutes after us and ended up eating their main dishes before we even got our appetizers. We didn't order anything complicated either, just a small plain pizza and shells with sauce. Food quality was good, made up for the bad service.

Food is always delicious! Their homemade creamy garlic dressing is to die for! You just can't beat the perfect mom and pop restaurant, especially in our little town of Jewett City 😊

Our favorite pizza place was closed. Green Onion was recommended. Said chicken parm was really good. Gave it a try. Was Amazing!!!

I'm very disappointed with the management at the green onion. I had a very small dog that was sick that was in a very small basket that you could almost not even notice unless you were looking. the dog was in medical issues, that we were taken care of and decided to stop over to the green onion to have a bite. they abruptly told us that we needed to leave with the dog and was not allowed to have the dog in there.I understand health reasons and stuff but if you have a sick dog and you explain this to the staff and they still demand that you leave we kind of a problem with the way they told us. I didn't have a big barking dog it was a pound and a 1/2 dog aside from that I don't agree with some of the other 4 and 5 star ratings I really don't think the food is that good

What a great experience! All out food was delicious and big servings at an inexpensive price. Hot Italian grinder chicken parmesan spaghetti and meatballs. Service was great !

Their food is delicious! We had the chicken parm and the bigger sirloin steak. The salads were nice and fresh. The garlic bread was off the hook. All around great meal and service from them. Would highly recommend.

First time visiter and it went well. A good variety on the menu to accommodate my growing family. Food was very good, service was fast.

It's good, their house creamy garlic dressing is amazing and their pizza has a good balance of cheese, sauce, and crust, with maybe a slight bias toward cheese. The value for this place is crazy good though, so go get some!

Been coming here for awhile. If you order a salad make sure to get the garlic dressing.

Great local restaurant. My wife and I have been going there for over 20 years, either dine-in or take out. Great food, menu and prices. Excellent staff and service. Love their garlic dressing: best bar none. I get extra with my chef salad. Fish and chips are tops!

Great food, friendly staff

They have the best pizza around when they do not burn the crust, but the waitresses continually rush you out over and hour before they close and one waitress got so upset when I told her that she owed me 2 cents. She rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed as if it was only 2 cents and I should just be ok with it. So that keeps us rarely going there.

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs, coleslaw, and chicken parm. The woman working the counter was extremely friendly and personable. The price point is nice and low. The meatballs were beautifully done, two large meatballs that had been simmering in the sauce, tightly packed but tender and tasty. The chicken parm looked great, two large chicken breasts, tender and cooked well. If you like melted cheese (I do) then you will enjoy that aspect also. I just felt the sauce could have had a little more flavor. On a scale of 0-10 I would rate this 7.1.
